Kalderon MD - Art and Design in Glass - Visitor's Center and Studio

Daniel Kalderon's Visitors Center and Design Studio are located at the entrance to Kibbutz Hanita.

The tour begins when Danny and his wife receive visitors at the entrance to the visitors' center, and guests are given an explanation of the process of working with glass.

After that, they pass through the workstations where they are shown the process of glass design.

First stop is the cutting station, from there the tour continues to the polishing station, the glass washing station, and the product design station; then to the kilns where products are fired to give them their desired shape and up to the end product.

The workshop also has a store where you can purchase products.

The workshops take between two hours to half a day.

At the end of the workshop, the participants leave with an item they created.

The item remains at the production hall until the end of the production process, fired, and when ready, sent to participants' homes.
