The Givat Ram University Botanical Garden is like a natural diamond in the heart of Jerusalem.
The garden acts as an educational and research center and contains a diverse collection of plants from all over the world and are displayed geographically.
The garden is a center for recreation, tourism, and cultural events as well as a center for education, training, and research.
The garden covers an area of 4 acres and contains the most extensive collection of living plants in the Middle East.
There are more than 6,000 species and varieties of plants from the world in the gardens, which are presented according to six geographical plots (South Africa, Europe, North America, Australia, Southwest and Central Asia and the Mediterranean).
The garden plots resemble the flora of each region and show the various blooms throughout the year.
