Public Parks & Gardens
The Banyas waterfall, one of the largest in Israel, is one of the source tributaries of the Jordan River. The waterfall is about 10 meters high, and descends into a natural, lush and pastoral pond. A wooden promenade enables visitors to view the waterfall from close up, and enjoy the sight and sound of the rushing water. The Israeli Nature and Parks Authority has constructed a 100 meter long suspended walkway over a section of the stream, that enables visitors to walk near the current.
