Hashomer Museum Kfar Giladi Here you'll discover how the defense organization Hashomer was founded in 1909 to protect the Yishuv (the country's Jewish communities).

Multimedia displays will reveal the role its founders played not only in security but also in establishing new communities and a new way of life. Among the many treasures are the original Hashomer flag and the weapon that belonged to the intrepid Yishuv hero Joseph Trumpeldor, who gave his life at nearby Tel Hai.
