Mount Gilboa

One of the Galilees most scenic regions, this 500-meter-high ridge is the site where King Saul and his sons died after a battle with the Philistines. The view from Gilboa takes in many biblical sites, including Mount Moreh, Tel Jezreel, the Spring of Harod, and Bet Shean, where Saul's body was hung after the battle on Gilboa.
