Dr. Dabour's Visitor Center is located in the village of Beit Jann. The Center combines the secrets of Galilean medicinal plants with new technologies, and, biotechnology for the development and manufacture of natural, healthy, non-chemical and anti-aging products.
The Center has gained national and international recognition:
Nicknamed, the "Garden of Eden for Plants," the Center is an institute for informal research in partnership with the Ministry of Education, the Directorate of Science and Technology, and, the laboratories are approved by the Ministry of Health, and are included in the Israeli Darmocosmetic Society including seven companies. It has been awarded international standards: GMP and ISO9001, and the products have been registered and approved in various countries around the world.
A variety of activities can be held at the labs for schools including conducting scientific research for elementary and junior high school students, workshops for students from kindergarten to junior high school, tours of the Center, and knowledge of medicinal plants.
The Center hosts various lectures on subjects including health, healthy lifestyle, tradition and science, herbs and diseases like cancer and diabetes, beauty care, skin aging, entrepreneurship, and more.
The center is managed by a team of women in response to the owner's vision of empowering and employing women.
In addition to the Visitor Center, a laboratory was recently established in the area of the ancient village in its center, in order to improve the service to the many customers.
Owner Dr. Ziad Dabour is a lecturer in clinical pharmacology, organic chemistry, biochemistry, and herbal medicine at the Medical School and Tzfat Academic College, and in the past was the IDF's chief pharmacist.
