And not just an imaginary grandmother... but the grandmother of Nir, the chef, who for years collected recipes from his home. Nir Frommer combined the recipes in the kitchen of Tata, specializing in a variety of contemporary dishes, all in accordance with the Israeli character and palate.

Chef Nir is a native of Binyamina, the grandson of the founders of the 'Moshava', a graduate of the former Dvir School, now called Dan Gourmet.
Nir has worked in Tel Aviv restaurants with the leading chefs in the culinary industry.
Nir believes in food served in large portions, to truly appreciate the local, and authentic cuisine and culture.
