The Fringe Theater

Fringe Be'er Sheva is a cultural space. Fringe is a language.

A uniquely artistic, contemporary language that is touching, inspiring, kicking and challenging conventions.

At Fringe Be'er Sheva, this language has been spoken for more than 6 years, with tens of thousands of viewers, adults, and children, consumers of art and culture.

Since then, the theater has been home to a new generation of artists in a variety of artistic fields, and a community of artists has been formed around it.

In April 2010, the Fringe was established by Edan Avishar, Yosi Deutch, and Yoav Michaeli.

The permanent building of the Fringe was inaugurated, with the assistance of the Be'er Sheva municipality in 2012.

Every year, more than 150 plays, dance works, music performances, and exhibitions are presented in the Fringe Hall.

The artists there have also been active in theater and performances around the world, at the "ZooFest" festival in Montreal, "A-Part" in Poland, "Valult" in Britain, "Gift" in Tbilisi and more.

The International Fringe Festival IFF: The flagship project of the theater is the International Fringe Festival which takes place once a year, in the second week of July.

The festival offers a celebration of theater, dance, music, plastic arts and street performances from Israel and the world.
