Museums And Culture
Fringe is a language. Unique artistic expression, contemporary, inspiring, kicking and pushing boundaries.
Here at the fringe, we have spoken this language for more than eight years, sharing it with adult and children audiences, art and culture consumers.
The Fringe cultural space in Beer Sheva was established in April 2010, by Idan Avisar, Yossi Deutsch, and Yoav Michaeli – who aimed to create an alternative, contemporary cultural experience in the south. From that day forward, the theatre became home to new generation of artists in various fields, it gathers around it an artistic community, and it takes a significant part in the national vision of developing the south.
The Permanent structure of the theater was inaugurated in 2012, with the help of Beer Sheva municipality.
Every year we display in our theatre more than 150 different shows, musical and choreographic performances, and art exhibits.
Our ensemble actor's get great reviews around the world,
for the original productions that they create and produce.
Furthermore, more than 500 social and cultural activities and projects take place outside the theatre every year.
The annual international Fringe festival, is theatre's main event, which takes place every year, on the second week of July.
The festival offers a celebration of theatre, dance, music, plastic art and street performances from around the world.
We invite you to be excited, to touch and to take part in the creation.
