Kadma Winery - Kfar Uria

The winery was established in 2010 by the Slutzkin family in the village of Uria, managed by Lina, the mother of the family, and, with the assistance and cooperation of all the family members.

The Kadma winery is a winery that uses ancient technologies in the production of wine.

It is the story of the roots of the winery's owner.

Throughout the tour, you will learn about the family's connection to the village of Uriya, the long history of winemaking in the Judean plain, and her native country of Georgia, and the history of winemaking there.

Throughout this journey, ancient methods of winemaking will be explored, in an area that was once a significant wine supplier for the old world.

The winery visitor center can host up to 100 people seated around the tables; various events can be thrown according to budget.

You may build your menu according to your needs including items like a gourmet cheese platter (including hard and semi-soft cheeses), vegetable platters, tehina, olives, labane with olive oil, tomato tapenade, a selection of rustic breads, homemade pastries, tuna salad, cherry tomato salad in pesto, parsley salad with cranberries, platter of smoked fish, a variety of quiches, stuffed vine leaves, antipasti and hot drinks. The products are dairy and kosher.

A tour and wine tastings can be combined in each visit including a video of the wine process in the Kadma winery and briefly tells the story of the establishment of the winery and the journey after the wine cisterns to Georgia.

A lecture on the topic of "Wine in ancient times and today, in Israel and around the world," which describes ancient methods of making wine and the connection between them and what is done in the winery today.

Also, you can see closely the wine cisterns and modern equipment in the winery as well as some exhibits from the world of winemaking.

The tasting includes four different wines and a detailed explanation of each of the wines.
