Archaeology and History
Tel Be'er Sheva's ancient urban planning and biblical history have given it universal value that led UNESCO to declare it a World Heritage Site. You'll explore the city's sophisticated water system and see a 70-meter-deep well the deepest in the Negev.
Several ancient buildings have been reconstructed using authentic mud-brick.
You'll also see the city gate, streets, dwellings and storehouses, a 'horned altar and a lookout tower with a fascinating view of the desert and the modern city of Be'er Sheva.
