Holy Places
Catholic church of the Benedictine Fathers, built between the years 1900-1910. According to Christian tradition, it is here that Miriam, the mother of Jesus, fell asleep before ascending to heaven. The Domitian site comprises a church, a monastery and a bell tower built in neo-Romanesque style, and stands on part of the remains of an ancient Byzantine church.
