Holy Places
The Coenaculum marks the site of the "upper room," where the Last Supper of Jesus and his disciples was held, and combines Crusader and Arab architecture.
Most of the building is medieval, and was built over David's Tomb and perhaps Jerusalem's first church.
It is also associated with the room belonging to John Mark's mother in which the disciples were baptized in the Holy Spirit.
