Nahal Me'arot (Caves River) is a world heritage site with prehistoric caves that humans inhabited for millennia. While hiking Mt. Carmel's southern slopes, visitors may visit the caves and take tours that focus on local geology or botany using information sheets. The site includes a regional information and instruction center, a souvenir shop, and a snack bar.
