Alaska Inn hotel has an extensive history. It was built in 1911 and its initial name was the "Snow of Lebanon."
It has hosted presidents, prime ministers, UN officials, journalists and (the hotel is a national communications center) and it has hosted among others the "Palmach" soldiers from the historical " Bridges Night".
With a constant vision for renewal and progress, the hotel today is a modern vacation site, which surprises the guests, who return again and again to visit and to receive a unique service that you can't get anywhere else.
The hotel is located in the heart of Metula in the Upper Galilee and near it, you can find "Canada Centre" - an international leisure and sports center.
A large buffet breakfast is served each morning. The Alaska Inn's restaurant is open at lunch and dinner and offers both buffet and a la carte options. BBQ facilities are also available.
The hotel is only 20 minute drive from the Banias Waterfall and Mount Hermon Nature Reserve and about a 45 minute drive away from Christian holy places. The ski resort on Mount Hermon is 30 minutes away by car. Free parking is available on site.
