Henkin House, built in the 1930's, is an Israeli historic landmark.
The house was originally the home of Yehoshua and Olga Henkin.
Henkin was famous for his work for Keren Kayemet, redeeming the lands of Israel.
Olga was the first Jewish midwife in Israel.
The Henkins built this home but never lived in it.
For many years after their death the home changed hands, occupied by government officials and heads of the area. In addition to breakfast the menu offers quiches, lasagna, different types of pasta, salads, sandwiches, toastim and of course a selection of great dairy desserts. You'll work up an appetite getting up to the restaurant.
