Meat
There is a real Wild West atmosphere at the restaurant, from its design to its menu.
'HaTachana' has been open for more than 13 years.
The restaurant is located next to a historic flour mill that once operated in Metula, in the area of the Tahana waterfall, hence its name.
This mill was probably used by the first settlers and farmers in Metula.
The food and the menu is intended for those that have come to eat meat.
The meal includes a variety of smoked meat of different temperature and weights, as per the customer's choice, and each dish is scrutinized prior to serving.
Most of the cuts of beef are seared on a hot plancha in front of the customer, so they can say when the temperature is right.
All of the main dishes include a variety of side dishes and a rich salad service.
In addition, the menu features a wide variety of stews cooked in a Potjie Pot, ribs hung from a cross, a variety of appetizers and also vegetarian dishes.
