The "Pearl of Samaria" was founded in October 1922 and was named after the Baron Benjamin Edmond de Rothschild.
As such, Binyamina constituted a model colony, carefully planned in the spirit of the Baron's vision. In the heart of the Moshava is the first home donated to the community by Mend Chodkov, one of the first settlers.
