A visit to the LH monument located near Kibbutz Netiv Halamed Heh in the HaEla Valley perpetuates the memory of the 357th convoy of the 35th Infantry Division who died in a bloody battle with the Arabs of the region.
Shimon Kushnir (one of the founders of the General Organization of Workers in Israel), Tuvia Kushnir's father who fell in the Battle of the Halamed Heh coined the nickname "the mountain platoon" after their fall.
